More Maternity and Pregnancy Portraits

I wasn't too happy with the video in the previous post so here are all the pictures so you can linger a little longer.

In this shot the model is wearing a man's white shirt, and we both preferred the combination of white shirt and black background with the hair colour.

I appreciate that most people feel nervous about showing off in front of a camera when they might have mixed feelings about the changes in their body. It helps if you can bring a supportive partner or friend to share the experience.

The best results come when you are at about 34-36 weeks because the difference from your pre-pregnancy shape is so accentuated.

When the pregnancy's this far along, having the baby kick the bricks off is an occupational hazard! Since mum had a name for the baby, we also made the baby's name in bricks.

Back-lighting and gauzy material puts your shape in silhouette and with a completely different mood to the side-lit shots.

It was a very relaxed shoot. The main reason for the sofa was to give the model somewhere comfortable to rest while we changed lighting and camera positions.
